a great vid as always, on a long overdue stretch of road.
Thorough analysis and clear presentation. It seems the proposed Truro bypass has faded from the scene…
Yeah, unfortunately it was cut by the federal government after their infrastructure review last year
Few short weeks until the 2024 training camp start!
great vid, nice to see your mug on cam ;-)
It's a slow backward place.
I moved back to Adelaide after a few years in Brisbane certainly has changed. It actually reminds me of Brisbane a bit
I remember clearly arriving in Adelaide when the newer bus were being brought into service. It was such a shame I never got on those older ones.
Not sure how this popped into my memory all these years later
Nice Qatar 777 landing
Thanks Norman, when will they finish the underpass at Aldinga?
Northbound is already open (see the second half of the video), and I expect southbound to follow in February or March, depending on how much leave the contractors are taking.
love ya work Norman!
Excellent comparison, well done Norman 👍
If you cross your eyes you can see both at the same time in some kind of time paradox.
Merry xmas Norman
Thats not a good wave ill show you a mexican wave
They got extra seats out roof open
We're Brisbane residents who visited Adelaide for the first time just last month. I half expected the SA capital to be similar to Brisbane. How wrong I was! Adelaide reminded me of Brisbane in the early '80s. The lack of tall buildings, and in particular the lack of crowds and traffic, along with quite a few buildings that need some serious money spent to spruce up the CBD. Loved the Adelaide Hills and how close the airport is to the CBD. We were only there for 48 hours, so didn't bother with seeing Glenelg Beach. It just seemed like a mini version of what we have on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, but without the nice weather. As much as I'd like to explore country SA, Adelaide is pretty much a "one visit is enough" kind of town. So is Brisbane.
Womp womp
Exactly! I moved back to Adelaide after a few years in Brisbane a couple of years ago. It does remind me a little of Brisbane
Nice weather? You've no idea. Our climate is near on perfect. A few hot days in summer and some cold rainy days in winter. Have your humidity and floods and leave us be xx
Still find it hilarious they tore down the old station to build a new one but not grade separate the crossing at the same time, meaning the whole station had to get rebuilt again 10 years later.
Brings back memories of the original station with the old wood yard siding there.
unlce CHOPPER
Fine
I was there in 2013 and loved the place. I want to move there
The final season of Texas Stadium
That's for the lift. Here's some petrol money...
noice
scary when video is speeded up, goes to show how speed can kill.
There is no housing crisis as such it's a man made greed ( cult imposed 2030 plan) oriented deliberate plan ....oh don't be so blind people ...what's happened to building housing Commission eh??? No excuse none whatsoever ....two words "averis & greed" ...the lifeblood of Australia.
Classic 737 Adelaide landing approach
This is really nice. I’m coming to Tonsley for my masters at Flinders. I’m a bit nervous about accommodation though. What suburbs do you recon close to flinders uni with easy access to public transport?
Bedford Park, Clovelly Park and Mitchell Park are all close by. You can also stay in the CBD and catch the train to Tonsley, it's only a 20 minute journey.
anyone in 2023
Only downside to this is they are eliminating a few right hand turns north and south. Have to make a lot of locals back track to do a U Turn. Classic engineer's making shit look good on paper
I meant designated to public transport
They called Adelaide, a country town and now look at it bro that was an awesome video you should do you want designated to public transport
Drive it daily. It's slowly getting there..
And happy new year
Amazing video as always
Hello Norman Great video of the Victor Harbor Road Project Come watch my Driving videos Because I have the same music as you

@@norm_yt thank you bro 🙏

Its interesting to see how Adelaide has changed over time, 2012 was the year I moved to Adelaide and it felt like such a smaller city a decade ago compared to now.
Great vid, Norm!
Faith's rendition, words, and stage presence was simply outstanding. Let us not forget Joan Jett, another spectacular show. Carrie Underwood also certainly does a wonderful job. Faith and Joan together, come on, be fun. ...lol Stay safe
Carrie Underwood is not bad, but I personally think Faith Hill was the best.
0:55 lol the traffic cone. Nice round up of decade old photos.
I didn't see it until you pointed it out, nice spot! 😄
Thank you for the video!
Love the medium density housing but I visit there all the time and on-street parking is a nightmare because of all the ground level individual driveways. Wish they took the bowden route and put parking garages and made the streets a bit more pedestrian friendly with wider footpathss, bike lanes, and speed bumps.
Interesting. The medium density residential parts look a bit dormitory and car dependent, but I see there's provision for "retail" area nearby so hopefully that becomes a somewhat self-sufficient thing.
I'm very excited for the North South corridor to be completed. My Boomer Dad doesn't think we need it but Adelaide needs to move forward, we're already decades behind the Major cities.
I'm a boomer and certainly think we need it, taking way too long!
When heard this theme when I was 5 back in 2008, I feel 50/50... I love football, but I have to go to bed at 9:30 due to Elementary school.
what number flexity was this
I'm not sure, sorry!
Always been the best football stadium in Australia
